About the Court Palisades VLC
The Court Palisades VLC sneakers are the preschool version of the court model with a hook-and-loop closure (the VLC index stands for the strap). The upper is layered: soft leather with synthetic suede overlays, and the five signature stripes are made of perforations. The sole is a full-length rubber cupsole whose rim wraps onto the upper and holds the foot at the edges.
The pair works for kindergarten and walking: the child puts them on without help, and the cupsole stands up to running around better than a glued sole.
In youth sizes the same model comes with laces.
