About the Pallabrousse Hi WP
The high version of the Pallabrousse — a model that follows the boots once made for the French Foreign Legion. For the winter season the upper is built from waterproof nubuck, and the tongue is stitched to the upper along its full length (gusset) so that water and snow do not get inside through the lacing.
This model works if you need a boot with an army silhouette that keeps the damp out: the manufacturer states waterproofing directly. Inside there is a cushioning Paradrop insole, and underneath a moulded Legion sole made of hard-wearing rubber.
Compared with the light urban Palla Ace canvas shoes, this model differs in shaft height and weight: these are shoes for autumn and winter, not for the warm season.
