About the SlammClassic CC
The SlammClassic CC is a rework of the model K-SWISS started with in 1966: five stripes on the sidewall, D-rings instead of the top eyelets and a smooth leather upper. Here that set is reassembled in the larger silhouette of the American Slamm tennis line.
The CC index (Carefully & Consciously) refers to the materials and production: the leather is tanned at tanneries with a gold rating from the Leather Working Group, which are audited on energy and water use and waste handling; the laces are made from recycled material, the insole is made using vegetable oil, and the sole contains recycled rubber.
Alongside it in the line are the SlammKlub CC with a cleaner upper and the summer SlammTennis CC TXT with a textile upper.
