About the Receiver V Omni
The Receiver V Omni sneakers are a tennis model for a player who needs working gear without paying extra. The outsole is made of Aösta II rubber, the same one used on the higher K-SWISS models: it gives predictable contact with the court and wears down slowly. A Superfoam insert is placed under the heel — it takes the impact during long matches. The rigid arch support in the midfoot keeps the outsole from twisting when you push off sideways for the ball. The pair weighs 380 g.
The Omni index means an outsole for artificial grass with sand — a surface common on European courts. Its pattern keeps contact with the sand; according to the K-SWISS surface chart, this outsole is also used on clay. On hard courts it will wear down faster than a hard-court outsole — there you need the version without the index.
The same line includes the Receiver V for hard courts and the Receiver V Carpet for carpet surfaces.
